My Story So Far
What started as a simple story of many personal failed attempts at using skincare and makeup products, has turned into one of the most successful skincare brands on the planet. When it comes to allergies, I know what it's like… I had tried countless skincare and makeup products, only to find myself feeling miserable afterward. Watery eyes, itchiness, painful outbreaks, and blistering all over my body were often the nightmares I had to deal with.
So eventually I gave up wearing makeup and using skincare products altogether. Which led to some serious self-esteem issues, not being able to even leave the house with a bit of makeup on when I went out with friends or my husband. But I decided that I wasn't going to give up that easily. If there were no products out there that worked for me, then I would just have to make my own, ensuring they were free from animal cruelty and formulated using only natural, sustainable and beneficial ingredients - essentially food for my skin. And just like that, Ilm Skincare was born.
It became an obsession. An obsession I now want to share with you.

Our name is an acronym for "I love myself enough to care about what I put on my skin," which is how we feel about sustainability. Our products are designed to suit all skin types and concerns. Whether you’re looking to achieve a radiant complexion, fight the signs of aging or just maintain healthy skin, we have a product for you.
We don't believe in sacrificing quality for sustainability that is why we also care about the planet as much as we do ourselves. We know that just because something is vegan doesn't mean it doesn't work—all our products are formulated with hero ingredients like Vitamin C, antioxidants, Hyaluronic Acid, Salicylic Acid, and Bio Retinols (Bakuchoil).
